DSE Reading is a Grade 10 program designed to build the core reading skills needed for the HKDSE English curriculum. Students will learn how to read faster with purpose, identify main ideas and supporting details, understand vocabulary in context, and handle common text types found in DSE-style passages (articles, reports, narratives, and opinion pieces). Through guided practice and targeted strategies, students will develop stronger comprehension, inference, and question-answering techniques for multiple-choice and short-response tasks. Each unit focuses on a key reading skill, with structured exercises and timed practice to build accuracy and confidence. By the end of the program, students will be able to approach DSE reading passages with a clear method, improved speed, and more reliable exam performance.
